I’m currently exploring full-time opportunities where I can help define vision, build great
teams, and ship impactful, AI-powered products. My sweet spot is at the intersection of
AI, cloud, data, security, and enterprise platforms.
Roles I’m Best Suited For
Director of Product Management (AI, Cloud, Security, Platforms)
Product leader for AI/ML or GenAI platforms and applications
Product Strategy roles focused on AI transformation, cloud-native platforms, or data/ML ecosystems
Technical Product Management leadership in complex, multi-product environments
I’m based in San Jose, California, and open to Bay Area roles, hybrid roles, and travel roles. I'm also a US citizen.
How I Create Value
What I enjoy most - and where I’m most effective - is turning complex technology into
products that actually move the needle. Over the years I’ve:
Led AI-driven automation and analytics strategy for data center platforms at major networking companies,
aligning product, GTM, and ecosystem efforts across hardware and software.
Built and scaled developer and data platforms that contributed to
hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue and pull-through.
Defined and launched integrations (Terraform, SDKs, APIs, analytics workflows) that changed how customers
automated and observed their infrastructures.
Drove AI and GenAI initiatives from “buzzword” to concrete outcomes - focusing on data accessibility, realistic expectations, and failure mitigation strategies.
Built LLM apps, RAG pipelines, and evaluation harnesses in Python using OpenAI, Claude, Bedrock, LangChain,
and related tools, so I can collaborate deeply with engineering and research teams.
My Edge: Business + Nerd Hybrid
I’m not just “technical for a PM” or “business-savvy for an engineer.” I’ve deliberately
built a career that spans both:
Technical depth - AI/ML and GenAI engineering coursework; hands-on coding; cloud architecture on AWS; security mindset informed by CISSP.
Business and product strength - MBA, decades of PM and product leadership, GTM and pricing work,
customer discovery, and sales enablement.
Bridge-builder - I enjoy getting “Vivek with the MBA” and “Amy with the network engineering masters”
aligned on a plan that none of us could build alone.
That combination lets me take on interdisciplinary problems where technical complexity and business risk are both high -
and where you need someone who can talk fluently with executives, engineers, customers, and partners.
Recent Focus Areas
LLM orchestration, retrieval workflows, and evaluation for production-ish prototypes
AI safety and risk framing (e.g., Constitutional AI, NIST AI RMF, OWASP LLM Top 10)
Cloud-native deployment and observability for AI-powered applications on AWS
Data platforms, metadata strategy, and integrations with existing enterprise systems
I’ve been especially drawn to organizations that care deeply about aligning powerful AI systems
with human values and real-world constraints, not just maximizing demo wow-factor.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
Autonomous, but aligned: I can operate with light touch management while staying tightly tied to strategy.
Execution over theater: I’m very good at being genuinely busy; I’m terrible at pretending to be busy. I find ways to add value.
Collaborative: I work well with engineering, design, sales, marketing, support, and legal - and I respect each discipline.
Curious and multidisciplinary: I’ll learn whatever is necessary, from CUDA kernels to contract terms, if it helps us ship the right thing.
Calm in ambiguity: I like early, messy phases where we’re still figuring out what to build and why.
